To-do List.... check!

I woke up bright and early (9:30 is early for me these days), got ready, and headed out towards Dunn CPR. I was surprised when I walked in to see a full class. 9 people including myself. I looked over and noticed a girl on the far end looking at me. She looked a bit familiar and then the leader called out her name and realized who it was. It was a fellow Dukie! We have 62 members in our facebook group for the Duke ABSN class of 2012 so far...and she is one of them. It is quite refreshing to have someone so close to home to share this opportunity with. I had only exchanged a couple of short messages on facebook with her, but we got a chance to chat for a few minutes during the BLS class. Also, what are the odds that we would be taking the same class the same day?
I remember looking at the clock thinking time was standing still. I, for some reason, thought the class was 4 hours long. I'm glad I was mistaken.
Giving chest compressions sure does take a lot of energy...phew! The leader laughed and told us we would all be sore tomorrow.
A little after 2 hours later, we were done. I passed the test with "flying colors". We all did!
See you in 2 years BLS class!

I am now done with all the things on a long list I had to have done by November 1st.

Woohoo!

Now, I just need to remember to register on November 3rd in the middle of our road trip adventure.

This brings me to this evening's baseball excitement.
The Texas Rangers did it again!!!!
We made those Yankee fans exit THEIR stadium before the end of the game.

10-3

3-1 in the series

World Series here we come **crosses fingers**

It almost makes me forget about how bad the Cowboys have been playing this season.
