National Geographic type Weekend

One of my favorite patients:

Tootsie!

Tootsie Roll

Friday afternoon was spent at the Carolina Ale House watching the Duke game.
March Madness is in full effect!!

I'm glad to say we won =)

I barely slept in until 10 AM...grr
I started my day off with a run/walk.
The weather was AMAZING. I'm really enjoying the spring weather each and every day.
I decided to go along that creepy trail I've mentioned a couple of times.
Turns out, it's not so creepy now that it is spring.
I found some flowers =)

...and a snapping turtle

I spent a large chunk of the day studying for my N203 (Fundamentals) exam.
I was interrupted by a knock at my door.
A nice man delivered a plant from my parents.
A birthday gift for me:

=)

Around 6:30 I arrived at Brittany's place for a BBQ to celebrate her birthday. We are almost birthday twins.
Forget Spring, it almost felt like Summer.
Out by the pool enjoying the heat.

After a few hours I headed home.
I remembered to check out the SUPERMOON.
I made sure to grab my camera.
I watched a suspenseful movie Friday afternoon with Stesha and followed that with a Dateline episode.....so when I heard a noise in the woods...I freaked out, ran inside, slammed the door shut, and locked it. I continued to shake for about 10 minutes.
Because yes, in my Dateline-ish mind, a creepy man was trying to kill me.

anyways, I give you SuperMoon:

I slept in until noon today (yesssss!).
I didn't even get out of bed.
I spent all day studying for N203 again.
I had the Duke/Michigan game on in the background. It ended up coming down to the wire and Duke still pulled it off!

I thought it would be wise to get another run/walk in to keep my sanity.
What did I spot today?
4 deer =)

Right before I saw them, I heard a familiar noise.
That noise I heard last night while snapping pics of the moon.
It must have been a deer...not a serial killer.
Good to know.

I finished up my N203 studying, did an online Nutrition exam, and managed to get more than half of my Stats assignment done.
I am beat!
