Tacos, burritos, and cookies

After I slept just about all day...okay okay...I got up at 1:00.
I made breakfast and got my tan on for an hour again.
I called Stesha and we worked on our community health assignment. We are doing a community survey...and we chose Chapel Hill. We mainly filled in population information today.
We took a break and had a meal at a new place.
We got in the car and just drove around until something looked good.
I give you Toreros:

One look at the menu and I was excited.
The chips and salsa were very tasty.

We also got a 15% discount because we are Duke students.
I ordered a Granda...which is a combo where you pick two things.
I went with a taco and a burrito.
This is how I ordered it:
"I would like the Grande with a taco...no tomatoes. AND a burrito...bean and cheese only. Oh, can I also have a little queso on the side."
This is what I got:

A taco...with tomatoes...and there was no meat...it had cheese, lettuce, and beans.
My burrito had some kind of sauce on it that was not queso.
I was frustrated, but let it go.
I picked off the tomatoes...but I couldn't get over the sauce on my burrito.

The portions are pretty amazing though.

I just wish I had gotten what I ordered.

We came back and got part of next week's assignment for community health done. I won't be here a big chunk of next week...so it was best to do it today.

Once she left, I went for a walk.

I found more roadkill.
Poor thumper =(

I was in the mood to make something.
I've had the ingredients (all of two things) for some cookies I like for 2 months.
I finally got around to making them.

They are healthy and boring...but here they are.

I heat up a package of white nestle chips.
I microwave them around 30 seconds of a time to where they are liquidy enough to stir together and there are no more chips.

Then you mix in one bag of fiber one cereal.

Then I use a 1/3 cup to scoop them up and place them on a pan covered with wax paper.
Place them in the fridge until they are hardened.

There you go!

True Blood season 4 premiered tonight and I am a happy girl.
It was a double one. Two episodes back to back.

I'm off!
