Reality is setting in

My life has been taken over by nursing school.
They weren't kidding when they said this was a full time job, and then some.

This was my first Tuesday to attend class.
The day started out with Intro to Professional Nursing and Evidence Based Practice.
This is a class that has a lot of writing and discussion.
I wasn't looking forward to it very much, but I'm glad I had the wrong idea.
It ended up being very entertaining.
The instructor is hilarious and kept me interested.
We did a simple group exercise and then our teacher shared this with us:

After two hours of class, we had to attend a seminar on how to succeed in nursing school. These are mandatory seminars that we must attend every Tuesday.
This was the part of the day that I nearly fell asleep.
It had nothing to do with what was being covered. I was just having a midday case of the lazies.

I had about an hour and 15 minutes for lunch. I made my lunch this morning in an effort to start saving money.
Other than my sandwich trying to commit suicide in my purse, It was a great lunch.
My usual group and I headed up to the computer lab to print some documents out for class. One of my new friends helped me with the technical stuff =) hurray!
I had some issues logging in on the school's computers for some reason. I went downstairs to IT and they fixed the problem. My password needed to be reset.

I had originally planned on reading the first chapter in my statistics class during the break, but all of the above took up the whole break.

Next, I had Pathophysiology.
I had a heck of a time getting through one of the chapters last night while reading.
Once it was presented in class I had a better understanding of the material...which is to be expected.

After class I joined my new friends to Noodles & Company.

I had never heard of this place before, but if it has starch...how could you go wrong?
My brain was overloaded and I couldn't really process the menu while I was there so I ordered mac & cheese.
I'll be more adventurous next time.

my failed attempt of a pic on the ride over
Dez's meal

Stesha's meal

The meal was great and it was nice to enjoy some social time.

I then proceeded home to study health assessment.
This class is taking up all of my time.
I spent 6PM-10PM reading the material in preparation for another Quiz.
It probably wasn't the best idea to start taking the Quiz at 10PM.
My brain wasn't functioning properly and my eyes were sick of looking at a computer screen.
I still thought it would be wiser to take the quiz directly after reading the material.
I scored a 94 and I wish I had done a bit better.

The night finished up with booking tickets to Austin.
I will be attending a wedding with the boyfriend =)
I'll be in TX from the 11th of Feb to the 14th.
Most of my classes have exams that week. It will be a nice treat after all that hard work!

I should be asleep right now because I'm breaking my "get 8 hours of sleep a night" rule.
There is a 2 and half hour break between my two classes tomorrow...I might nap.

goodnight

ps: you should be glad to know that I have done the dishes twice, a load of laundry, cleaned the litter box, and taken out the trash.
It you know me, this is a big accomplishment.
